Purpose

To seek approval to carry out a rolling
refresh of the council’s IT hardware estate.

The Committee RESOLVED (unanimous vote in favour):
1.
To authorise the Director: Policy, Strategy and Digital, in
consultation with Chair of the Strategy and Resources Policy
Committee to take all steps required to procure and award hardware
procurement contracts (which may be above the key decision
threshold), in line with the maximum budget envelopes outlined in
this report ranging from £1.719 to £1.909 million per
annum for up to 5 years, subject to identification of funding
within the Medium Term Financial Strategy, inclusion in the Capital
Programme and the approval of the council’s budget for
2025/26.
 
2.
To authorise the Director: Policy, Strategy and Digital to invoke
any subsequent extensions or variations specifically defined in the
contract(s) being awarded, up to the maximum budget envelope
outlined in the report.
