Purpose

To seek approval of capital funding to upgrade
critical analogue assets to digital solutions that are being
switched off by the industry in December 2025.

Content

The Committee RESOLVED (unanimous vote in
favour):
1. To approve the allocation of £1.05m
capital funding to deliver the upgrade from analogue to digital
solutions as outlined in the report under due process.
2. To authorise the Executive Director: Growth
and Regeneration, in consultation with the Chair of the Strategy
and Resources Policy Committee, to take all steps required to spend
the allocated capital funds to implement the digital upgrades up to
the budget envelope outlined within the report.
