Purpose

Content

That Cabinet:

1.     
Authorised the Executive Director Growth and Regeneration in
consultation with the Deputy Mayor - Finance, Governance and
Performance to take all steps required to procure and award a new
Hard FM contract for an initial period of 5 years with the option
to extend for 3 further periods of one year, up to the maximum
budget envelope as outlined in this report.

2.     
Authorised the Executive Director Growth and Regeneration in
consultation with the Deputy Mayor - Finance, Governance and
Performance to take all steps required to secure the continuation
of Repair and Maintenance services for up to 12 months whilst the
re-procurement process is undertaken.

3.     
Authorised the Executive Director Growth and Regeneration in
consultation with the Deputy Mayor - Finance, Governance and
Performance to take all steps required to invoke any subsequent
extensions/variations specifically defined in the contracts being
awarded, up to the maximum budget envelope outlined in this
report.

4.     
Approved the Capital programme of Health and Safety activity as set
out in Appendix A (at an estimated cost of £2,060,000 and
£319,000 for Education Lifecycle)

5.     
Authorised the Executive Director Growth and Regeneration in
consultation with the Deputy Mayor - Finance, Governance and
Performance to take all necessary steps to procure and award
contracts to undertake the works set out in Appendix A.
