Purpose

This award meets the business’ needs to
maintain the equipment, using the most cost-effective route to
market. Pay on Foot Parking equipment requires ongoing maintenance
and repairs, so a new contract is required to replace a previous
maintenance contract to extend the life of the equipment.

Content

Approval to award a contract for the
maintenance of Pay on Foot Parking equipment (hardware such as
barriers and ANPR cameras, as well as supporting software). This
will enable the Council to continue to operate its Multi-Storey Car
Parks and provide value for money by allowing ongoing use of the
equipment. This contract will be awarded using ESPO framework
509_23, which is the most cost-effective route to market.
