Purpose

The grant awarded by the DfE is intended to be
used to address the 3 key priority areas identified by the Newton
Europe Diagnostic undertaken following the outcome of the Ofsted
ILACS inspection in January 2023 where Bristol City Council
received a grading of requires improvement, and which will have the
most impact for our children and at the same time deliver financial
efficiencies.
Cabinet on the 5th September 2023 approved the grant funding
awarded by the DfE and delegated to the Executive Director
