Purpose

To seek approval to accept and spend revenue
grant funding awarded by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing
and Communities (DLUHC) as part of the Rough Sleeping Accommodation
Programme for 2024/25.

Content

That Cabinet:

1.     
Authorised the Executive Director of Growth and Regeneration in
consultation with the Cabinet Member for Housing Delivery and Homes
to accept and spend the DLUHC/Homes England grant funding of up to
£792,888 including procuring and entering into contracts over
the key decision threshold, on the continued implementation of
RSAP.

2.     
Authorised the Executive Director of Growth and Regeneration in
consultation with the Cabinet Member for Housing Delivery and Homes
to take all steps required to vary contracts and grant agreements
that are in place with providers for the delivery of RSAP as
required.

3.     
Authorised Executive Director of Growth and Regeneration to invoke
any subsequent extensions/variations specifically defined in the
contract(s) being awarded, up to the maximum budget envelope
outlined in this report.
