Purpose

This will ensure that we are able to fund the
services that are keeping citizens safe in accommodation that
provides appropriate support and further preventing and reliving
rough sleeping in the city in line with the governments Rough
Sleeping Strategy and the aims of the Corporate Strategy
2022-27.

Approval was given to provide a 8.36% uplift
to value of three contracts providing supported accommodation for
single homeless adults for the period 28/10/23 to 27/10/24:
•Pathway 1 (accommodation for men),
•Pathway 2 (accommodation for men and women),
•Pathway 3 (accommodation for women).
Approval was also given to extend the Pathways Resettlement Service
from 22/10/23 27/10/24 at a reduced annual contract value. This
service provides floating support to clients who have recently
moved from Pathways Supported Accommodation into their own
independent accommodation.
