Purpose

This Framework Agreement will allow Bristol
City Council, Fleet Services to provide a compliant body and
mechanical repair service in the event of an accident or
incident.

Content

To award the Vehicle and Plant Accident
Repairs contract under a framework agreement.
This is the most appropriate way to ensure best value for public
money because this would allow the opportunity for local SMEs to
bid for this work.
The new Contract will be awarded to this type of organisation. In
particular, one of the major requirements of this tender is for the
Contractor to be able to provide quick responses to Bristol City
Council to ensure good utilisation times for its vehicles.
