Purpose

To seek approval to run a tender, procure and
award a 5+1+1 year contract for internet connectivity.

Content

The Committee RESOLVED (unanimous vote in
favour):
 
1. To authorise the Director:
Policy, Strategy and Digital in consultation with Chair of the
Strategy and Resources Committee to procure and award a 5+1+1-year
Internet Connectivity contract, in-line with the procurement routes
and maximum budget envelope outlined in this report.
 
2. To authorise the Director:
Policy, Strategy and Digital to invoke any subsequent extensions or
variations specifically defined in the contract(s) being awarded,
up to the maximum budget envelope outlined in this
report.
 
3. To authorise the Head of
Procurement & Contract Management to approve appropriate
procurement route to market if changes to procurement routes are
subsequently required.
