That the Committee
for Strategy and Resources

1.  Approved a public fundraising
campaign to raise funds towards the acquisition of the
painting.

2.  Approved the purchase of the
painting subject to receipt of sufficient donations and funds.

3.  Authorised the Executive Director of
Growth and Regeneration to appoint an authorised representative to
bid at auction up to the approved amount, taking into account all
associated costs of auction, including auction fees and premium,
transportation and courier fees and spend the donations and funds
as outlined in this report.
