Purpose

To provide an update on the pipeline of
housing development sites for allocation to Goram Homes, the
council’s wholly owned housing company, and to seek approval
for changes to the pipeline.

Content

That the Committee for Strategy and
Resources:
 
1. Approved the Goram Homes
Pipeline Review 2025-26 Report, including the removal of the
Dovercourt Gas Works site, and the inclusion of Plot 5, Bedminster
Green in the pipeline.
 
2. Approved delegation to
the Executive Director, Growth & Regeneration, in consultation
with the Executive Director for Housing, the Chair of the Strategy
and Resources Policy Committee, and the Director of Finance, to add
or delete sites from the pipeline of housing development sites,
where appropriate.
 
3. Noted the update on the
current status of each site previously approved for allocation to
the Goram Homes pipeline, as set out in Appendix A1.
 
4. Noted that the disposal
of sites referred to in Appendix A1 as Baltic Wharf, Car Park
adjacent to SS Great Britain, A and B Bond, The Grove Car Park and
Western Harbour will be subject to agreement by the Harbour
Authority.
