Purpose

To request approval for the proposal by the
Integrated Care Board (ICB) to the current Children’s
Community Health Partnership (CCHP) contract by 12 months to allow
sufficient time for an effective re-procurement exercise. The ICB
is the lead commissioner for CCHP but Bristol City Council (BCC)
commissions a range of essential services within the contract, as
an associate commissioner.

Content

That the Committee for Communities and Public
Health:

1.     
Approved the proposal by the ICB to extend the current
Children’s Community Health Partnership (CCHP) contract,
including the Bristol City Council services within it, by 12 months
to allow additional time for a successful re-procurement
exercise.
 
Contractual
 

2.     
Authorised the Director of Public Health, in consultation with the
Chair of the Public Health and Communities Committee, to take all
steps required to implement the extension of 12 months as outlined
in this report.
