Purpose

To seek approval to procure and award a new
Vehicle towing contract.

That the Committee for Transport and
Connectivity
1. Authorised the Executive Director for
Growth & Regeneration in consultation with Chair of the
Transport and Connectivity Committee to re-procure and award the
Vehicle Towing Contract, in-line with the procurement routes and
maximum budget envelopes outlined in this report being
£1million over 5 years.
2. Authorised the Executive Director for
Growth & Regeneration in consultation with Chair of the
Transport and Connectivity Committee to invoke any subsequent
extensions/variations specifically defined in the contract(s) being
awarded, up to the maximum budget envelope outlined in this
report.
