Purpose

To provide an update on the second year of
operation of the Clean Air Zone in Bristol, note changes to the
Financial Assistance Scheme and propose changes to the CAZ
charge.

RESOLVED:
 
1. To note the information contained within
the latest CAZ Evaluation Report (Appendix A) and note the updates
to the Financial Assistance Scheme as set out in the report
(approval for changes to the Clean Air Fund was delegated in
Cabinet Paper Dec 21

2. (unanimous vote in favour) To authorise the
Executive Director for Growth and Regeneration in consultation with
Chair of the Environment and Sustainability Committee to approve
the procurement and associated expenditure from the Capital Vehicle
Replacement budget to cover the match funding required. This
funding will support the upgrade of non-compliant CAZ fleet
vehicles, in line with the revised Financial Assistance Scheme as
approved by JAQU.
