The Committee
RESOLVED (unanimously) to:
 
1. Approve the
Outline Strategy for the future library service (Appendix A5) as
the basis for further engagement and development into a full
library strategy in Phase 2 (November 2025 – May 2026).
 
2. Note the findings
from Phase 1 as laid out the Needs Assessment (Appendix A6) and
agree the data as the evidence base for setting the full library
strategy.
 
3. Approve
additional budget of £88,441 to deliver Phase 2 with summary
set out in Appendix A1
 
4. Agree delivery of
Phase 2 (November 2025 – May 2026) is governed via the
Library Strategy Project Board as laid out in the Terms of
Reference (Appendix A4).
