Purpose

To provide an update on the delivery of the
Holiday and Food Activity Fund (HAF) Programme and to seek approval
to accept and spend central government grant funding for the
financial years 26/27 and 27/28 and 28/29 to continue the HAF
Programme

The Committee RESOLVED: UNANIMOUSLY
 

To approve the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme as set
out in this report.

 

To authorise the Executive Director of Children and Education in
consultation with the Chair of the Children and Young People
Committee, to take all steps required to accept and spend the
Department for Education (DfE) grant for the Holiday Activities and
Food Programme, in-line with the procurement routes and maximum
budget envelopes outlined in this report for 2026/7,  2027/28 and 2028/29, including, procuring and
awarding contracts (which may be over £500k) where necessary
to implement the activities and programmes as outlined in this
report.

 

To authorise the Executive Director of Children and Education to
invoke any subsequent extensions/variations specifically defined in
the contract(s) being awarded, up to the maximum budget envelope
outlined in this report.
