Purpose

A Section 106 contribution of
£113,102.55 was drawn down for use in the Harbour Walkway
project in January 2025. Approval is now sought to spend this
funding on the ongoing construction work.

Alternative options considered

The Section 106 contribution was provided
specifically for the Harbour Walkway and cannot be spent on
anything else. The only other option would be not to spend it and
lead to a pressure on the Harbour Walkway budget.
