Purpose

The Council has a requirement to carry out
surveying activities on its property portfolio and this contract
will allow for these to take place. The £210,00 contract will
be spread over a period of 3 years. These professional services
contribute to BCC meeting their statutory requirements.

Approval to award Rider Levett Bucknell UK
limited the contract for Surveying requirements – RAAC,
Structural and Building Conditions following a compliant tender
process.

Alternative options considered

A full tender process took place in September
2025, with 4 companies responding and a 5th company did not
respond. No alternatives were progressed as this was a tender
exercise for the 3 disciplines identified.
