Purpose

It was decided that the existing contract with
Yunex Limited be extended for three years. This allows sufficient
time for EVI projects under the City Leap Energy Partnership to be
developed and delivered, including the establishment of a new
maintenance/repair contract to be managed by the Strategic Partner.
The existing contract provides an ongoing repair and maintenance
service in the interim for all BCC-owned and Revive Network EVI
within Bristol and the South-West area.
The existing call-off contract was in place, BCC are receiving the
desired level of performance by the supplier and the contract
contained provisions for the extension. Therefore, it was decided
that the extension represented best value and a new procurement
exercise was not required.
