Purpose

This will ensure that we are able to continue
services that are keeping citizens safe in accommodation that
provides appropriate support and further preventing and reliving
rough sleeping in the city in line with the government’s
Rough Sleeping Strategy and the aims of the Corporate Strategy
2022-27.

Content

Approval was given, in consultation with the
Chair of the Homes and Housing Delivery Committee, to extend five
contracts from 28 October 2024 to 31 March 2025. These contracts
are:
1.Pathway 1 (supported accommodation for homeless men),
2.Pathway 2 (supported accommodation for homeless men and
women),
3.Pathway 3 (supported accommodation for homeless women),
4.Pathway 4 (specialist supported accommodation for homeless people
with substance use support needs)
5.Pathways Resettlement Service (floating support to clients who
have recently moved from Pathways 1-3 into their own independent
accommodation.
