Purpose

The council’s current server
infrastructure is Windows based and the aim of this is to renew the
licenses for that estate to maintain access to the software and
services we host on those devices. This is aligned to our current
Digital Strategy and to work subsequently delivered as a part of
the IT Transformation Programme and Digital Transformation
Programme.
The service is essential to maintain critical IT infrastructure and
platforms. Cabinet approval has previously been given to tender the
contract, this document serves as notice of the decision to Award
the contract under powers delegated by Cabinet.
