Purpose

Willow Park School has needed their windows
replacing for a while and an initial budget was approved at Cabinet
in April 2023.
A further tender exercise was carried out in March 2024 and bids
were more than the £60,000 budget, therefore, a further
£60,000 budget was made available from a project that had
been cancelled.
As none of the bids were within budget, a 3rd tender process was
completed and a new contract price of £105,670.00 was
agreed.
Given the original budget was only £60,000, Finance gave
approval to move monies from the cancelled Horfield Primary Boiler
replacement into the Willow Park Windows project.
