Purpose

Responsive Repairs has previously had an
arrangement with Rapleys via Constellia previously, this has
operated well and has assisted the team in dealing with demand
during an ongoing period of staffing and capacity issues. The team
is currently undergoing a period of change in structure and demand,
and has sought a further contract for a higher value and longer
term to allow the flexibility of contractor assistance as the
service develops.

Approval to award to Rapleys, via the
BCC/Constellia arrangement a contract to appoint a specialist
surveying resource assistance in order to reduce the backlog of
repairs, working in the same manner and in partnership BCCs
internal surveying.
