Purpose

The services are required to complete the
construction of 12no affordable homes by the Housing Revenue
Account in line with Project 1000 Affordable Housing Delivery
Plan.
This decision is made in accordance with The Project 1000
Affordable Housing Delivery Plan 2022-25 that outlines how the
council will focus its land, time, money, and influence to improve
the way affordable housing is delivered in Bristol.
The council’s ambition is to work with partners, local
communities and developers to deliver 1000 new affordable homes
each year by 2024.

Approval to award a build contract to Stepnell
as main contractor at 190-196 Romney Avenue to complete the
construction of 12 affordable homes in line with the existing
planning consent.
Services include detailed design, principal designer and main
contractor services.
