Purpose

Buckinghamshire Council is proposing to
introduce ‘no waiting at any time’ (double yellow line)
parking restrictions on a section of the A40 High Street, West
Wycombe, in the vicinity of ‘The Swan Inn’ and
‘The Apple Orchard’. The proposals have been developed
to prevent parking in this narrow section, to address the issue of
westbound vehicles mounting the footway to allow eastbound vehicles
to pass parked vehicles, putting road users – especially
pedestrians – at risk.
