To agree the new lease at the subject property with the landlord. Council are the
tenant

Reasons for the decision

The council is the tenant in this transaction. If a new lease is not agreed the landlord will take back possession of the land and the Council would have to seek alternative arrangements to provide an outside playing field and recreational area within Quainton. The terms of the lease renewal are in line with the market.

Alternative options considered

There is no alternative land available in the
locality for the council to lease.
