Approval to proceed to Statutory Consultation
for the proposed implementation of a signalised Toucan Crossing on
the A413 Buckingham Road, Winslow, and to convert a section of
existing footway into a shared use cycleway/footway.

Reasons for the decision

For avoiding danger to persons or other
traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the
likelihood of any such danger arising, for facilitating the passage
on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including
pedestrians) and for preserving or improving the amenities of the
area through which the road runs.

Alternative options considered

No other options have been considered as the
Developer Section 106 contributions are specifically allocated to
provide a formal crossing at the location proposed.
