Purpose

To approve the release of Capital Programme
budgets for projects that have progressed through the Capital
Gateway

Recommendations:
 

(1)  
To approve the addition to the Capital Programme
of £2.62m of s106 developer contributions in
2025/26, 
include contributions of £1.53m in Health,
£882,000 in Transport and £211,000 in Open
Spaces.

 

(2)  
Approve the release of the above £2.62m
budget to progress the agreed s106 schemes. 

 

(3)  
To agree to progress the Buckinghamshire Great
Ouse Natural Flood Management project and Property Flood Resilience
Feasibility Study, including release of £410k existing
capital budget, adding an additional £370k of external
funding from the Environment Agency for the project and a
feasibility study and re-allocate £40k from an unallocated
Flood Capital budget as a match funding contribution

 To approve the
release of £1.18m of funding from the existing Special School
Places funding block to progress proposals for the Chiltern Way
Academy Trust

 

(5)  
To approve the release of £135k funding
from the existing Special School Places funding block to repurpose
the former caretaker’s bungalow at Pebble Brook School for a
SEND facility

 

(6)  
To approve the release of £145k from the
existing programme to finish the repair of Rowley Farm
Barns

 

(7)  
To approve the release of £4,210,555 Better
Bus Grant capital funding from the existing programme to deliver
the schemes and measures specified in the DfT Delivery
Plan

 

(8)  
To approve the release of £1.85m of Capital
Contingency towards the Council’s invest-to-save Estate
Strategy, as detailed in Confidential Appendix A.
