To designate the whole of Little Chalfont
Parish as a Neighbourhood Area as applied for by Little Chalfont
Parish Council in their application.

Reasons for the decision

Little Chalfont Parish Council application was
submitted in accordance with Regulation 5A that was inserted into
the 2012 Neighbourhood Planning Regulations.
The effect of Regulation 5A is that if a parish council submits a
Neighbourhood Area Application to include the whole of its entire
parish council area, the Local Planning Authority must designate
the whole of the parish area as a Neighbourhood area.

Alternative options considered

Due to the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations
2012 there are no alternative actions. If a parish council submits
a valid application to declare the whole of its parish area as a
neighbourhood area the local planning authority has to use its
powers to designate the area applied for.
