That the Director of Planning and Environment
use their delegated powers to enter into a legal agreement with the
RSPB in order to secure the management and maintenance of the
Kingsbrook Meadow strategic SANG (the “Kingsbrook
SANG”) in perpetuity.

Reasons for the decision

To enable the delivery of the Kingsbrook SANG
and its management and maintenance in perpetuity.

Alternative options considered

Not entering into this agreement would lead to
further delays in finding a suitable alternative natural greenspace
to mitigate the recreational pressure and impact from the pending
planning applications for relevant residential development on the
Chiltern Beechwood SAC, and consequential impact on housing land
supply.
