The Chief Executive, in consultation with the
Leader AGREED the recommended contingency plans and the approach as
outlined in the confidential appendix.

This decision is being made according to paragraph 2.15(i)(c) of
the scheme of delegation within the constitution, which allows the
Chief Executive "in cases of urgency to take any decision which
could be taken by the Council, the Cabinet or a committee, in
consultation with the Leader".

Reasons for the decision

To protect services for individuals with
health and social care needs in Buckinghamshire in the event of an
increased risk of provider failure.

Alternative options considered

There are limited alternative options for the
Council to consider, however these have been outlined in the
confidential appendix.
