Quarterly report to Cabinet on our Corporate
performance indicators.

Content

The performance report provided
details of the key performance measures reported through the
corporate performance framework for 2025/26. Latest performance
outturns and targets were reported alongside trend and benchmarking
information, where available. Commentary was provided for each
indicator explaining what was being measured, explaining the
narrative behind each outturn and detailing improvement
actions.
 
Within the performance report,
outturns which were performing at or better than target were
classified as Green, those which were within 5% of the target were
Amber and those which were more than 5% of the target were Red. At
the end of quarter 2, 66 indicators had outturns reported with a
Red, Amber or Green status. Of these, 44 were Green (67%), 6 were
Amber (9%) and 16 were Red (24%). This compared with 64 indicators
with outturns reported in quarter 1, and of these, 47 were Green
(73%), 3 were Amber (5%) and 14 were Red (22%).
 
RESOLVED the Council’s performance be noted including the
action taken to improve performance where required.
