Purpose
A new Raised Cycle Crossing table on the Platinum Way Cycle Way, across Picasso Place is proposed. Currently, the existing cycle users have to rejoin the carriageway from the off road route, which presents hazards to vulnerable users

a. NOTED the outcome of the public consultation and statutory consultation for the Traffic Regulation Order;
b. AGREED that the Traffic Calming Proposal be made as advertised at Statutory Consultation: Install a new raised table cycle crossing at Picasso Place, Aylesbury;
c. DELEGATED authority to the Head of Transport Infrastructure & Delivery to complete detailed design following public feedback;
d. DELEGATED authority to the Head of Transport Infrastructure & Delivery to approve contractual commitments up to the value of the remaining Active Travel grant to enter a construction contract to deliver the Platinum Way improvements.
