Complete rent review memorandum documenting the outstanding rent
review effective as at 26 June 2021.

Reasons for the decision

The rent review provisions are set out within
the subject lease dated 2 February 2017 and the Council supports
the rent recommended by Carter Jonas to conclude the rent review.
The proposed revised rent will continue to generate a revenue to
support
delivery of the Council’s services and meeting the
Council’s obligations under Section 123 of
the Local Government Act 1972

Alternative options considered

To have the rent review determined by an
arbitrator, but this would be costly with regards to the level of
fees involved.
