The
Leader AGREED that:
 
The
remaining MTFP funding for White Hart Street is released up to the
total of £3,073,039 to enable delivery of the public realm
scheme.
 
The
Service Director, Highways and Technical Services, in consultation
with the relevant portfolio holder, is delegated to approve
contractual commitments up to the value of the released funded
budget of £3,073,039 to complete design, tender and deliver a
public realm scheme.
 
 
This decision is being taken
under ‘special urgency’ provisions of the constitution
to ensure that the White Hart Street improvement project can be
delivered on schedule and within budget. This decision aims to
avoid potential cost increases that could arise from delaying the
decision and requiring tenders to be repriced.
