The Cabinet of Bury Council approved recommendations on 30 June 2026. The council will use £701,000 of grant funding and £1,051,500 of match funding to acquire eight properties for temporary accommodation and resettlement. Housing Services will manage repairs and maintenance, while the Homelessness and Housing Options Service will manage placements and support.
