In March 2024 the Department of Health &
Social Care (DHSC) made available monies to local authorities to
increase the number of Social Work Degree Apprenticeships (SWDA).
After submitting a bid, Bury have been successful in securing
£120,000 toward improving our offer of support to enable us
to increase the number of SW apprenticeships we can
offer.
