1.
That Cabinet identifies Option 4d as set out in the report as the
preferred option for Canterbury City Council in its submission to
government.
2.
That the Leader of the Council in consultation with the Joint Chief
Executives is given delegated authority to:
a.
act on behalf of Council in submitting the final proposal and
supporting information
b.
adds their signature to the final report as endorsement of the
business case and preferred options
c.
make minor changes and amendments to the final business cases, as
published with this agenda, where this does not create material
changes that could have influenced the decision of the Cabinet
d.
continue working with other Kent and Medway council leaders and
chief officers on the procurement and strategic direction of a
strategic partner for phases 3 and 4 as set out in the report
