To enter a contract with EDF for the purposes
of providing landlord electricity supplies at fixed rates for 36
months. The former contract with Opus was costing on average
39.2134p per Kwh whereas the new EDF contract is 30.3792p. This is
a 22.53% reduction and will mean a saving of £68k annually
for tenants and the council. This is based on 100% renewable energy
making it more environmentally friendly too.
