Acceptance of tender
submission and entering into a contract with Greenfields Ltd for
the value of £25,426.24. 

Reasons for the decision

To enable the Council to
improve access through and around Elmfield Playing Field, enhance surface water
drainage, and increase biodiversity, it is necessary to enter into
a contract with a third party to undertake the required
construction works. 

 

A Request for Quotation
(RFQ) process was carried out via the procurement portal. Following
the receipt of six bids, Greenfield Ltd was selected as the
preferred contractor based on the evaluation
criteria. 

This decision notice
provides the necessary authority to enter into a JCT Minor Works
Contract with Greenfield Ltd. 

 

A Tender Decision Report
(exempt under paragraph 3, Part (1) Schedule (12A)
Local Government Act 1972) is included to support this
recommendation.
