Purpose

The Council’s Safeguarding
Policy is due for review this report will outline the outcomes of
that review and present a revised policy.  It will also outlines the implementation plan for
the review. The report will also set out the current safeguarding
context in Cheltenham.

RESOLVED THAT:
 

1.           
the revised safeguarding policy is
adopted;

 

2.           
authority is delegated to the Director of
Communities and Economic Development, in consultation with Cabinet
Member for Communities and Safety, to agree updates to the policy
as we transition our housing services.
