To seek approval of the following policies:

·          Asbestos Policy

·          Fire Policy

·          Gas Safety Policy

·          Electrical Policy

·          Lift Safety Policy

Decision

RESOLVED that:

1. 1.    the following policies are approved:

a)    Housing Asbestos Policy

b)   Housing Electrical Safety, Alarms and Automated Equipment Policy

c)    Housing Fire Safety Policy

d)   Housing Gas Safety Policy

e)    Housing Water Safety Policy

f)     Housing Damp Mould and Condensation Policy

1. 2.    authority is delegated to the Director of Governance and Customer Services and the Deputy Chief Executive to make minor amendments to the policies to reflect changes in legislation and/organisational structure.
