Purpose

Cost estimates received for the
Macclesfield Indoor Market Refurbishment Project have exceeded
initial predictions obtained. Despite value engineering, the
project remains above budget. To address this issue at no
additional cost to the Council, it is intended to seek a virement
of £243,000 of allocated UKSPF funds from the Macc on Foot
Project to the Macclesfield Indoor Market Refurbishment
Project.
