Purpose

To seek approval to
enter into:
 
• A s185 Agreement with
United Utilities plc (“UU”) pursuant to the Water
Industry Act 1991 for permanent diversionary works of the foul and
surface water drainage sewers – the diversion shown as per
the plan entitled “s185 Plan – Final” at Appendix
2; and
 
• to transfer the land
shown edged red on the plan entitled “Transfer Plan –
Final” at Appendix 3 for UU’s use as a pumping station,
the transfer including reserving rights of permanent access to the
Council.
 
All documents are on terms and
conditions to be agreed by the Head of Estates and the Director of
Governance & Compliance.
