Purpose

To enter into a Commercial
Transfer Agreement with Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic
Academy Trust in substantially the same standard form as required
by the Department for Education on the conversion of St Mary's
Catholic Primary School, Manor Lane, Middlewich, Cheshire, CW10
9DH.
The DfE has made an Academy
Order dated 18 June 2024 that St Mary's Catholic Primary School
converts to an Academy.
The School is proposing to join
Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Academy Trust, an established
multi academy trust.
The proposed conversion date is
1 June 2025. The Council is entering into a Commercial Transfer
Agreement with the Governing Body of St Mary's Catholic Primary
School, Middlewich and Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Academy
Trust to give effect to this conversion. This agreement deals with
transfer of non-land assets, contracts, staffing and
information.
