Purpose

Being satisfied that traffic
and pedestrians should be prohibited to facilitate works, to give
public notice of and make a temporary road closure order under s14
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other
enabling powers to prohibit traffic on Wolstenholme Elmy Way, Eaton
/ Hulme Walfield / Somerford for its
full extent for a period of 18 months or until the works have been
completed, whichever is the sooner.
