–
 

1.  
That the Housing Service Domestic Abuse
Policy, attached at Appendix 1 of the officer’s
report, be approved.
 

2.  
That authority be delegated to the Service Director
– Housing, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for
Housing, to approve minor amendments to the Housing Service
Domestic Abuse Policy in between formal review periods.
 
REASONS FOR
RECOMMENDATIONS
 

1.  
The adoption of the Housing Service Domestic Abuse Policy will
ensure that the Housing Service has a clear and consistent policy
to support customers who have experienced or witnessed domestic
abuse.
 

2.  
The adoption of the Housing Service Domestic Abuse Policy will
ensure that the Council is compliant with the Regulator of Social
Housing’s Consumer Standards.
