Purpose

This report sets out the polices and actions
the Council intends to implement in order to comply with the
Biodiversity Duty under the Environment Act 2021. These will be
reported to government in January 2026

RESOLVED
 
That Cabinet
approves the policies, actions and objectives that the Council
intends to undertake to comply with the statutory biodiversity
duty, as recommended by Environment Panel at its meeting on 27
January 2025.
