Purpose

This report seeks approval to increase the
repairs and maintenance budget to reflect the age and condition of
the churchyards the council maintains.

Content

RESOLVED
 

1.   
Allocation of £100k from reserves to enable urgent repairs
to closed churchyards for which the council has
responsibility.

2.   
An increase of £10k to the annual repairs and maintenance
budget to enable biennial structural surveys and manage
defects.

3.   
An allocation to the Asset Replacement Programme of £20k a
year to provide budget for significant works on a five yearly
basis.
