Purpose

This report will seek delegated authority(s)
to enable the submission of a partnership bid to the Lottery scheme
"Climate Action Fund- Our Shared Future" which, if successful,
would provide funding to establish a Climate Action Network in the
district.

RESOLVED
 
That Cabinet
delegates authority to the Director of Planning & Environment
in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Environment to approve
submission of a final application to the National Lottery’s
Climate Action Fund for funding to develop a climate action network
in Chichester district.
 
*RECOMMENDATION TO
COUNCIL:
 
That Cabinet
recommends to Council that Council delegates authority to the
Director of Planning and Environment, in consultation with the
Cabinet Member for Environment, to accept any offer of funding from
the Climate Action Fund and to approve a budget for its expenditure
should the application be successful.
